Texas requires one of the following photo IDs:
• Texas Driver License
• Texas Personal ID
• Texas Election ID Certificate
• Texas Handgun License
• U.S. Military ID
• U.S. Citizenship Certificate
• U.S. Passport
If you don’t have one, you can vote using a Reasonable Impediment Declaration.
Voting Options
Vote at any Harris County Early Vote Center. Shorter lines and flexible hours.
Monday, October 19 – Friday, October 30, 2026
Mon–Sat: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Sun: 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Harris County uses countywide voting — you may vote at any Vote Center.
Tuesday, November 3, 2026
Vote Centers open 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
You may qualify if you are:
• 65 or older
• Disabled
• Out of the county during voting
• Confined in jail but otherwise eligible
October 23, 2026
Must be received by the Harris County Elections Office.
